Forward, Forward, Weak Attack
Description[]
The Magician squints his eyes to focus his attention, then dash slightly and brings out his Damascus, spinning it rapidly in front of himself.
Overall a terrible attack. If there're multiple enemies, just using Air Dash and spam (Air)+A in the right direction will already deal more damage. For a single enemy, a single use of Lightning Kick will also deal more damage. But most importantly, you can use it by mistake easily, when you want to hop forward with (Air)+A attack, which is a very strong technique to employ, especially to set up for optimal spell casting.
- There's probably only 1 way to use this move, by applying the "Damage Stacking". But it's very niche and is extremely nonoptimal at dealing damage.
- This is the only move that's flagged as Dagger, so it will deal 50% damage to large enemies, and 75% to mid-size enemies. (every other physical move of his is flagged as unarmed, despite him actually using his Damascus to attack sometimes). It's extremely advised against using it against anything else other than small sized enemies.
- Against a small enemy The Damascus 1st deals 80 Dagger base damage for 12 hits, then finish with 100 and 150 base Dagger damage (totaling to 1210 base dagger damage over 14 hits)
- Due to it being multi-hits attack, there's combo penalty. Use a quick Strong attack (B or ↓+B) first to get rid of the penalty and deal full damage.
- It leaves you wide open in the back and there's no way to cancel it (except by getting attacked of course). Use it carefully.
