Description[]
Creates a slightly blue mana aura around the caster that reduces physical damage, but lose SP on every physical hit. The SP loss does not depend on the damage taken, so 1-damage attacks (such as Eclipse's fur balls) will hurt SP as much as 1000-damage attacks.
The damage reduction is a percentage of damage, and the SP loss is a percent of max SP. Both the damage reduction and the SP loss depend on two factors (multiplicative):
- Percentage of maxSP the caster currently has: Every 20% of max SP reduces more damage, but costs more SP per hit.
- Energy Coat level: Higher levels give more damage reduction, and costs slightly less SP per hit.
For example, with 80% < curSP% <= 100% and level 10 Energy Coat:
- 80% < curSP% <= 100%: 70% damage, 3% SP loss.
- Energy Coat 10: 76% damage, 95% SP loss.
- Final: 70%*76% = 53.2% damage, 3%*95% = 2.85% SP loss (of max SP). (Intermediate rounding may result in slightly smaller values.)
The Coat lasts 100 seconds at all levels. If a hit leaves no SP, the Coat will end.
